With the arrival of a home Women’s Euros this summer, interest in women’s football in England has reached fever pitch. But the legacy of England’s Lionesses will be felt far beyond the much anticipated sold-out stadiums and record viewing figures – it will be felt on muddy pitches, jumper goalposts and grazed knees, as more women and girls are inspired to play in their own way.
Our campaign for The FA and England Football celebrates the individual Lionesses and the generations of women and girls who they are inspiring to play across the country.
We spent three months gathering insights from thousands of women and girls, bringing their voices to life across 23 bespoke artworks designed and illustrated for each member of the squad. Displayed on OOH sites in each of the player's hometowns.
We also created limited edition Risograph posters, delivering them to camp ahead of the tournament kick-off.
