Our new identity for Fantasy Premier League amplifies the screen-based, hyper real world of the game – blurring the line between pitch-side action and in-game impact.
Fantasy Premier League managers obsess over their decisions. From planning their next transfer, to deciding when to play a triple captain, to choosing between 10 £4.5m rated defenders. Our idea was to create a brand system that brought to life the addictive, digital world of the game within the wider Premier League brand.
Inspired by moiré effects from digital screens, the iconic Premier League pattern is reimagined with rich digital textures that create an immersive backdrop for the game.
Based on the original Premier League typeface, FPL Sans echos the system’s language through ‘glitching’ characters that merge between the digital world and reality.
